Physical property:

Square crystal or fiber crystal, the melting point is 174 degrees centigrade, dissolving in hot water, ethanol and acetic ether, light dissolving in aether, not dissolving in benzene and mineral ether.

Pharmacological action:

reducing fever and dispel hot weather, improving eyesight and detoxification, diuresis and cool blood, good for fever and thirsty, calenture and erysipelas, conjunctival congestion and carbuncle turgescence, diarrhea, oliguresis etc.
